Welcome to our website!

EQUIDEI is a research group based at the Autonomous University of Madrid, but with the participation of researchers from other universities.

The group has been created to help improve the psychopedagogical understanding of the processes of conceptual change, school improvement and innovation that help promote an education with greater equity and therefore more inclusive.

It also has a clear purpose of contributing to the transfer of this knowledge, through outreach activities, training and advice to those who are at the forefront of this ambition, as well as through the establishment of alliances with families, with national and international NGOs and with other research groups.

Inclusive Education Consortium

The research groups of the UAM, EQUIDEI and OnInclusion have agreed to collect "the witness" of the Consortium for Inclusive Education that was created to promote knowledge of the Index for Inclusion, work of professors Tony Booth and Mel Ainscow, and that in Spanish is known as "Guide to Inclusive Education".

alliances

Here you will find references and links to international organizations, groups, teams or university research institutes; colleagues, or collaboration networks with whom we share the values and principles of equity, inclusion, human rights, respect for diversity,... Although, obviously, "there are not all those who are", our allies, understood from a mutual relationship, contribute in a notable way, from their own work, wherever they are, to developing and sustaining an education with greater equity and therefore more inclusive. For example, we feel that UNESCO and its commitment to inclusive education are an essential ally for those who want a more inclusive education.

This section shows, on the one hand, some training courses available online linked to the theme of inclusive education.
